Philip L. Richardson, CFP, MS
Phil is one of the
most designated financial advisors in Central Pennsylvania. In addition
to being a Certified Financial Planner, Phil has obtained his Master's
Degree in Financial Planning. You can take advantage Phil’s expertise to reduce your income taxes to their lowest
legal limit possible.
Phil is a 1984
graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. degree in Hospitality
Management. After graduation Phil worked for the
Marriott Corporation as a Director of Food Services in Hospital's and
Nursing Homes in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania.
Phil and his wife
Cathy moved to Elizabethtown in 1994 and are the proud parents of
Jordyn, Halle & Philip Jr. They cared for Cathy’s mother who lived
with
them for about 8 years.
In 1996 Phil started
in the financial services business with Greg Baker of Central Pa
Financial Services in Camp Hill. During this time
Phil met his current associate James Slupe. In 1999 Philip and James
created Philip James Associates in Lancaster.
In 2001 Philip started Senior Tax Strategies to focus on the needs of our senior clients tax returns. This proved enormously
successful and today has become the focus of our activities.
Philip has opened
two Senior Tax Strategies offices. One office in Elizabethtown and one
in Manheim Township to serve our many clients.
In 2011 Philip purchased two tax practices. Pat Post Tax Service of Mount Joy and Ecenrode’s Bookkeeping
Tax Service. Adding these two business doubled the number of tax returns we complete.
Phil has coached soccer through the Gears program for several years as his children were participating.
Phil and his family attend LCBC church in Manheim.
